The Global Education Week encourages to raise awareness of the wider world, to reflect our place in it, as well as our possibilities to make it more equitable and sustainable, acting respectfully and responsibly.

Description of the organisation SCI Switzerland is a peace organization, which is organizing around 15 workcamps with around 150 international volunteers every year. Around 80 volunteers living in Switzerland are participating every year in camps within Switzerland or abroad. Eight members of the SCI family from across the world were invited by SCI-India Maharashtra State Group on a webinar to share their personal experience of growing and working as a woman, and give their individual perspectives on gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The International Secretariat of SCI is looking for a Communication Volunteer to join the team in Antwerp (Belgium) from 20 June, for one year. The volunteer is supported by the European Solidarity Corps programme of the European Union. Check the call and apply by 18 May 2022!

SCI Malaysia had its first virtual reach- out session to volunteers named Teh Tarik Session, which in Malaysian culture means hanging out together over milk tea.
