AJOV held very successful Environmental Education Workshops

AJOV held Environmental Education Workshops in the District of Matutuine from June 9 to 19, 2025 at the Primary Schools of Machanfane, Nsime and Secondary School of Catembe Nsime 🌿

AJOV – Associação dos Jovens Voluntários successfully held environmental education workshops in the following schools:

1. Escola Primária Completa de Machanfane, located in the district of Matutuíne.

2. Escola Primária Completa de Nsime, located in the Administrative Post of Catembe N’sime.

3. Escola Secundária da Catembe N’sime, inaugurated in May 2024.

These initiatives aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of environmental preservation and promote sustainable practices in their daily lives.

During the workshops, participants had the opportunity to:

– Learn about the importance of environmental conservation: Discussions on local biodiversity and the impacts of human actions on the environment.

– Participate in practical activities: Such as planting trees and creating small school gardens, encouraging the practice of caring for the environment.

– Discuss solutions to local environmental problems: Identifying challenges faced by the community and proposing actions to mitigate them.

This action reinforces AJOV’s commitment to training young people who are aware and active in protecting the environment, in line with our mission to promote citizenship and sustainable development.
