Welcome the new project volunteer!


Last February, as part of the project “Decolonize volunteering!” from CCIVS, SCI Belgium had the chance to host a beautiful group of young people wanting to start working on a challenging and demanding issue: the decolonisation of volunteering.
Rangabali is one of the most remote disadvantage rural areas of Bangladesh and due to its geographical location no primary medical services are available.
SCI Bangladesh in collaboration with SCI Japan build a Mother and Child Care Center in Rangabali Patuakhali in 2017. In response to the continues request from local community and considering the need of the peoples of Rangabali SCI BD organized the 1st free medical camp. Read more.
To commemorate International Human Rights Day SCI India organised a workshop for students. They discussed the meaning of human rights, the responsiblities and priviliges that they offer and ways in which these rights are violated. They shared the words about the evolution of our understanding of human rights and provided some insights on the situation in India and the actions that need to be taken to ensure our common safety and wellbeing. The Global Education Week encourages to raise awareness of the wider world, to reflect our place in it, as well as our possibilities to make it more equitable and sustainable, acting respectfully and responsibly.
Tomorrow marks one year since the full-scale military aggression against Ukraine by Russia. We want to reiterate our message in support of peace, standing in solidarity with the people of Ukraine as well as peace movements and peace activists. No to war in Ukraine, no to war anywhere! We invite you to stand up against the war in Ukraine and encourage you to join your local peace protest or activity or to organise one yourself.
Counteracting the phenomenon of social isolation is the main goal of the campaign “W Klubie raźniej” (“It’s better to be in the Club”), which intends to encourage people active in seniors’ associations and clubs to become their ambassadors in their local communities.
